When it was time for Milo to go over the rainbow bridge he didn’t fight or fuss at all He stepped onto a surfboard and picked up a guitar, then pushed off and caught a wave. He strummed the guitar softly: he liked the sound that it made.
When he reached the peak of the bridge he saw the wonderful world that awaited him on the other side. He began his descent of the bridge and a happy school of fish came to the surface to greet him. Milo waved to them, and they swam and blew bubbles in delight. . The bank where the rainbow bridge ended was full of brightly colored flowers that blew gently in the wind.
Millo landed on the soil between the flowers, careful not to crush any of the delicate petals. He got off his surfboard and turned around to see Mike and Carrie on the other side of the bridge.
He whispered, “I made it. Don’t be sad. Everything is going to be ok.”
